Trisha in sarvam

In these days of meltdown, due to worldwide recession the producers in Kollywood are also badly hit. The cost of movies is going through the roof due to lavish shoots abroad.
The latest we hear is that Vishnu Vardhan making Sarvam for leading producers Ayngaran International has decided to do some cost cutting. Vishnu was to shoot the last song of his film with his lead artist Arya and Trisha in the exotic locales of New Zealand. Now as part of cost cutting the song would be shot in Kutch, Gujarat! It is a clean saving of Rs 35 to 50 lakhs, as going to New Zealand with a bare minimum of 15 member unit would have been expensive with payments for hotel, travel and other local expenses to be paid in dollars. A shoot in Kutch in Gujarat would only cost for the producers one fourth the expense of going to New Zealand!
Vishnu is planning to shoot in the dry areas of Kutch like Lakhpat the last town situated at the western end of India, on the India-Pakistan border, at the junction of Kori Creek and Rann of Kutch. The temples (Narayan Sarovar, Bhadreshwar Jain) and major ports (Kandla, Mandvi) in Kutch city are locations not familiar to Tamil cinema. And with Nirav Shah cranking the camera it is sure going to be a treat for the viewers hooked to Yuvan's peppy number
