Petite beauty Trisha has been selective in signing new films, after successfully completing 10 years of her film career.
"I have completed almost 10 years of my film career. I appeared in more than 40 films and proved myself in Telugu and Tamil industries. Though I didn't not score a success in Bollywood, I haven't come across anyone saying 'Trisha is waste' there. I had the experience of working for 30 days in a month. Now, I have decided not to do that any more. So, I'm very selective in signing films," said Trisha.
The actress reveals she has no interest to shift her base to Mumbai.
"Though there were few offers from Bollywood, I rejected them as they were not good enough. If I want to concentrate on Bollywood, then I should settle in Mumbai. But, my roots are in chennai and I don't want to move from there. If anything exciting comes my way in Hindi cinema, then I will think about it," she adds.
Trisha was selected for the Style Icon award for the year 2011, which will be presented by NDTV Hindu. She has beaten her competitors, including Shriya Saran and Hansika.
"Just won the NDTV Hindu 'Style Icon' award. Thank u all sooo much..Ur votes n support means a lottt," tweeted Trisha.
