Trisha is Pair up With Ajith in Mankatha

The actress has signed up five films in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu. Trisha, who has just completed Manmadhan Ambu, is said to have signed up for Venkat Prabhu’s Ajith-Nagarjuna multi-starrer Mankatha last week. Sources close to the unit have confirmed that Trisha is doing the pivotal heroine’s role and that the director had narrated the story of the film to her. However, when CT contacted Trisha, the pretty actress said, “I have no comments to make. Let them make the announcement. It is purely for sentimental reasons.”
Trisha is going through the best phase in her career. After all the controversies surrounding her, now, there is a certain tranquility around her. It’s almost as if she’s slayed all her demons. There seems to be a certain maturity in the way she has been handling her career and personal life, especially after doing Manmadhan Ambu with Kamal Haasan and Madhavan. According to a close associate of the actress, “She’s had enough of the typical running-around-the-tree roles. At the moment, things seem to be going rather well for Trisha as some of the best roles are coming her way. The Mankatha role will be the icing on the cake.”
Trisha has completed the entire shoot of Manmadhan Ambu in which, thanks to sync sound, she has been able to dub in her own voice. It will be her next release in December, and is sure to bring her more accolades and box-office success.
From the first week of October, she will start working with Gautham Menon on the Hindi version of Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa, in which she is paired with Prateik Babar. After that, in November, she will head to New York for the shoot of her Telugu film Kushigaa, a remake of Imtiaz Ali’s Bollywood blockbuster Love Aaj Kal, in which she is paired with Telugu superstar Pawan Kalyan. In January 2011, Trisha starts her mentor MS Raju’s new heroine-oriented Telugu film.
In between all this, she has to find time and adjust her dates to do Mankatha, her third film with Ajith. She has a good rapport with Ajith with whom she has done Lingusamy’s Ji and Vijay’s Kireedam.
“A lot of exciting things (are) happening in my life, looking forward to it,” says Trisha’s recent tweet, summing up the present state of her career.

Trisha in heroine-oriented flick

It was once ‘Varsham’ that gave a break for Trisha in Telugu which etched a permanent place
for her in the hearts of Telugu people of all ages. It was followed by another hit
‘Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana’ which further strengthened her position. Both these movies
were under the banner of M S Raju’s production. After few movies in Telugu, she was
hijacked by Chennai crowd only to remain there as their favourite heroine for almost
a decade with a short stint in Bollywood too.

According to sources, producer M.S. Raju had plans to begin a movie titled Chandi with Kajal in the lead, but later dropped the project due to some reasons. Now he is gearing up to commence the pre-production work of this Trisha starrer. More details about the project are awaited.

Trisha has also signed another Telugu film. This Pawan Kalyan starrer will be a remake of Bollywood hit Love Aaj Kal. It was earlier said that Ileana would play the heroine in the flick, but we now hear that she was replaced by Trisha. Richa Gangopadhyay will be the second heroine of this untitled film directed by Jayanth C. Parajni.

Prabhu Deva next moving to Trisha

Though director Prabhu Deva is currently busy directing Ich with Jeyam Ravi playing the lead, he has reportedly started the groundwork for his next film. Sources reveal that the director has signed up Vishal for this project. Playing Vishal’s on-screen pair will be Trisha.

The lady is now busy shooting for the Kamal Haasan starrer Manmadhan Ambu and it is expected that she will move on to Prabhu’s project after she completes her current assignment.

Trisha new film Manmadhan ambu with Kamal Hassan produced by Udayanidhi Stalin is directed by KS Ravikumar. It also has Madhavan and Sangeetha in the cast with music by Devi Sri Prasad.

Trisha along with Kamal Hassan and a bunch of kids record “a poetic piece” for the film at DSP’s studio. It was not a song but a catchy poetic line which would appear in the background.

The buzz is that Trisha herself is likely to dub for the film.The film is shooted on a Mediterranean cruiser, and promises to be “the most important film” in Trisha’s career.

Trisha and madhavan in Kodaikanal

The Kamal Haasan starrer Manmadhan Ambu was shot extensively in Europe and the team flew down to Chennai to complete the second schedule. The latest we hear is that the Manmadhan Ambu cast and crew will camp in Kodaikanal to can a few important scenes. The shooting is slated to begin very soon.

Trisha and Madhavan are in Kodaikanal already with the rest of team to join them. Sources in Kollywood report that the shooting of Manmadhan Ambu may be wrapped up soon.

Trisha is having a whale of a time with the Manmadhan Ambu (MMA) crew in one of her favourite places in the world. The pretty lass who is currently in France for the shooting of MMA is on cheese-based diet to keep herself warm in an otherwise cold country. She even visited a 16th century church with Kamal Hassan and a few crew members on Sunday and had a good time there.

A normally self-confined Trisha, learnt how to clap the electronic clapboard which she learnt from her favourite actor Kamal Hassan. Though she found it tough, she seems to have thoroughly enjoyed her new role as a clap girl. “Mr. K made me handle the electronic clapboard yesterday. Learnt that a lot of competence is needed even for a job people think is so small,” was her comment on Twitter. Seems this humble disciple has learnt a lot from her Guru.

Trisha in Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya 100 Days Function

Trisha is busy with the shooting of Manmandhan Ambu which is in the final stages of filming. The pretty damsel always stays connected with fans and friends through the Internet. Answering a question from fans recently about her favourite hero, Trisha was first diplomatic but was forced to give an answer later. She revealed that her co-star in MMA is her all time favorite actor. "Ok fav actor has to me Mr. Kamal Haasan..I'm a hugee fan n jusss luv him.." was her tweet on her twitter page

When asked about her favorite heroine, she said "Favourite heroine...hmm..has been Simran for a while now...I like Tamannah n Samantha a lot in today's times...Very promising". That was updates of trisha in Twitter upto now

Trisha to replace Ileana in Pawankalyan's movie

Top actress Ileana these days is taking all the wrong decisions. She is already losing her top position to Anushka. Now she is losing another big film. Trisha would replace her in the remake of Love Aaj Kal starring Pawan Kalyan in the role. Ileana, who has given bulk dates to Shankar’s 3 Idiots, has no dates to accommodate to this movie as this film has been delayed for various reasons. So in comes Trisha.

Ileana has already lost ground in Telugu films and this exclusion, if confirmed, would further dent her image in Telugu cinema. On the other hand, Trisha seems to be very lucky as she has bagged this prestigious offer.

But Pawan Kalyan who returns to India next week from Jerusalem will take the final call. But it is almost confirm that Ileana won’t be doing the film and Trisha is their next choice.

So it’s almost curtains for Ileana and Trisha comes in Love Aaj Kal. This movie is tentatively titled ‘Khushiga’.
