







Trisha plays the role of Jessie in ‘VTV’ whose age is supposed to be a year more than Karthik character played by Silambarasan in the film. How come Trisha agreed to play older to Silambarasan? She says initially she refused to do the role and even argued and fought with the director for that. But finally Goutham managed to convince her telling the story needs it. Now after seeing the film and the wonderful reception her character gets Trisha is more than happy to have done that role.

The 25 something actress is brimming with confidence. Her popularity with fans and co-stars was never a doubt and her charms worked with all her producers, directors and co-stars.
When she made her debut a few years back, she was considered just a pretty face. But over the years, she’s shown maturity and versatility as an actress. And with VTV, she has redefined the concept of girl-next-door and the film hitting the jackpot is a career high for the actress.
When we meet the actress, she looks comfortably settled with the response she’s getting for the film.
Says Trisha: “I am not in any race for anything. I’m competing with myself to do as much good work as I can by doing good roles and continuously try and grow as an actor. I hope all my films do well at the box-office so that I can take steps as an actor”.

She has been further signed for three more Hindi films. So there was news that she will be settling in Mumbai. Initially Trisha’s house was in Pursawalkkam and now she has shifted her house to the posh area near Park Sheraton Hotel.
There was news that she is going to shift her house from here to Mumbai permanently. When asked Trisha about this, she said, “There is no truth in the news that I am shifting from Chennai.
I am in search of houses in Mumbai to invest my money. Three bungalows have come for sale in Mumbai. I am planning to buy these properties. I have decided to buy these houses and rent them out.”
